August 7th will be a busy day for the Frontenac ARES Group. We have two activities scheduled. The first activity is the activation of Amherst Island, which we have not yet done…although we have threatened to many times.
The second activity is the Colorado 14er Event. This runs from 0900L to 1200L and involves making contact with stations at the summits of mountains in Colorado, which are over 14,000 feet. ... Frontenac ARES Group
