Walk for M.S. (Multiple Schlerosis) in Belleville (2011/05/29)

On Sunday May 29, 2011, a group of amateur radiio operators from the Loyalist District of Amateur Radio Emergency Services (A.R.E.S.) set up their equipment along the route of the Walk for M.S. (Multiple Schlerosis) in Belleville.   George Papper (VE3YD) acted as net control as the amateur radio operators (VE3OCC, VE3UGT, VE3UR, VE3HON, VE3QWB, VE3UO, VE3CJG & VA3WOW) kept the event's officials advised concerning the progress and safety of approximately 200 walkers on the 5km. and 10 km. courses.
